Our region
Our region is composed of the city of Ingolstadt and the three districts of Eichstätt, Neuburg-Schrobenhausen and Pfaffenhofen a.d. Ilm.
We are one of the most successful regions in the whole of Germany, with above-average economic development, an excellent social infrastructure and one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country.
On the one hand, the Ingolstadt region is characterised by the diverse countryside and rural traditions, while on the other hand it is the ideal location for companies from a wide range of industries. The agenda is high-tech meets Bavaria. This illustrates the wide range of companies located here: you will find worldwide global players, medium-sized companies, innovative start-ups and traditional craft enterprises.
However, in addition to the economic successes, there is still a lot more to discover in our region.
